Surrogacy in Vietnam or Cambodia
From time to time, new destinations appear on surrogacy forums where surrogacy is apparently possible. These are countries where there is simply no legislation on the subject. Neither for nor against, because medicine is advancing faster than the law. This was the case in Thailand, Nepal, Laos or Vietnam, which for a short period of time became the ‘oasis’ for certain parents who did not meet the requirements in other countries.
These countries ended up banning foreign surrogacy and introducing significant prison sentences in their respective penal codes for foreigners who broke the law. Nowadays, CYPRUS, GUATEMALA (we would never finish updating the list) have become fashionable again, but these countries have no legislation on the subject. In these countries, processes are developed, where the pregnant women will ALWAYS be the legal mothers of the baby, until the authorities find out, and end up legislating against it. Therefore, we must fervently advise you not to listen to proposals of this type, which would lead you to a land without the slightest legal guarantee, and with enormous legal risks for your person.
GESTLIFE opens its own offices in all countries where a surrogacy process can be carried out with guarantees. If it were possible to carry out a surrogacy process in any of these countries, Gestlife would have opened an office in those countries a long time ago. Do not let yourself be lured by the siren songs of intermediary agencies, which will inevitably lead you to the reefs.
